I woke up last night because she was crying, I took she from the her crib and sang her a lullaby, then she looked at me in the eye and smiles. I found that hilarious, I’m not a good singer at all but it seems like that my baby likes me to sing more lullabies. Or maybe she’s smiling at me coz she knows that mommy’s voice is terrible. Well I do it all the time when she woke up at night then she fall asleep again after I sang for her. On the next day I phone a friend who’s also a mom for 3 children, I phone her because I know that she could explain why my baby act that way every time I sang to her. My friend said that its normal for babies to act that way. Once your baby is familiar with her calming noise, or music, or voice of her mom or the person who takes care of her you can use these to help your baby fall back to sleep when he wakes up in the middle of the night. And If she wakes and cries, repeat this process. She also said that If your baby gets used to his sleep time sounds you can take advantage of this tape your lullabies and play the tape iif you will be away from home for nap time or bedtime. The familiarity of these sounds will help your baby sleep in an unfamiliar environment. Eventually your baby will rely on this technique less and less to fall and stay asleep. She added Babies enjoy peaceful sounds, and they are just one more piece in the puzzle that helps you to help your baby sleep – gently, without any crying at all.
